This is the largest butterfly pavilion in the United States of America. Butterfly Wonderland has a huge rain forest atrium that has thousands of butterflies. There is a honey beehive, an ant colony and also a 3D theater!

Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art

Mountain biking is popular in this preserve as the terrain is perfect for it. There are also guided tours that provide support for those undergoing any activity in the park.

McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park

This park can be used for all activities, but it has a unique train theme. It has a train museum, and there are lots of old trains distributed around the area. The park has a restaurant, a train ride, and a general store. McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park is the perfect place for strolling around and for family picnics. It is also very close to the city center.

Marshall Way Arts District

This is the area where Scottsdale is separated from its western roots, and it focuses on contemporary art. All forms of art from both local and nationally known artists can be found on display here. Every Thursday of the week is the biggest night of the district, as an art walk holds from 7 pm to 9 pm. That art walk brings the streets to life with music, food, and art.

MacDonald’s Ranch

This is basically a horseback riding stable. There are lessons available for riders of various classes, and there is also the option to rent. The ranch has stagecoach rides, hayrides, a pumpkin patch and a museum. There’s live music most of the time and a space for cookouts.
